JSS2 students of Ray Jacobs Boarding School went on a week-long trip to the Cross River and Akwa Ibom states. The students who went by road using the school's bus, visited historical, geographical and cultural sites in these states. The trip lasted a period of one week. Some of the places include Obudu Cattle Ranch, Agbokim Water Falls in Ikom, Nature Reserves, Tinapa, beach and more.
The summer excursion trips are part of Ray Jacobs Boarding School's curriculum to expose its students to world around them. It also enables them see in practice, various subjects they learn in school. The trips serve to be more educational than recreational.
Students visit, Cross Rivers/Akwa Ibom States, Benin, Togo, Ghana, South Africa, Europe and the United States through their years in Ray Jacobs.
