ASSESSMENT STRATEGIES
Continuous assessment system is adopted. The pupils are assessed severally within the term. At the end of the third term a single examination which samples the universe of the entire contents covered from the beginning to the end of the academic year is conducted.
For a decision to be made in respect of every child all the within-the-term assessment results and the single examination result conducted at the end of the year are computed and decision is made thereafter. This method helps us to determine pupils who are to move to new learning tasks in higher classes and those who are to remain in the same class for more remedial courses.
